Burnham Waters launches new phase of retirement homes for sale in Essex
Burnham Waters, the luxury lifestyle retirement community in Burnham-on-Crouch, will officially launch its next release of retirement homes for sale in Essex on Saturday 10th January 2026.
An additional 11 new homes will be released for sale, including two brand-new one-bedroom bungalow house types – The Roding and The Lea. The launch will be marked with a special homebuyer ‘Muddy Boots’ event, offering visitors a unique opportunity to step onto the new area of the site and explore the homes, first-hand.

Those attending the launch event will be among the first to view the latest phase of the development. Visitors will be invited to don their wellies and walk the site, getting a real sense of this new part of the development, as it takes shape. While construction is ongoing, attendees will be able to step inside one of the new one-bedroom bungalows to experience the generous layouts and high-quality finishes.
Off-plan reservations will be available on the day. For those reserving, this will provide one of the LAST OPPORTUNITIES to customise their new home. There will be a choice of kitchen units, worktops and colours available, as well as flooring and tiling options - on selected plots.

Both new one-bedroom retirement bungalows – The Roding and The Lea – will be available in this new release of homes. Both will be delivered to the same high specification synonymous with Burnham Waters and will each feature a separate study/hobby/store room, also suitable as an occasional guest bedroom.
The Roding
