Burnham Waters | Our guide to the Burnham Art Trail 2025
This year’s Burnham Art Trail 2025 is taking place between Saturday 21st and Sunday 29th June 2025. Always a popular event in the local calendar, we are looking forward to exploring all that this year’s trail has to offer.
The Burnham- on-Crouch Art Trail will feature the work of 44 artists across 36 different venues. It transforms the town into a vibrant open-air gallery, showcasing an eclectic mix of traditional and contemporary art. The trail is a nine-day exhibition, with contributions and displays from a whole range of artists – from painters and sculptors to photographers, makers and creatives.
The event sees local volunteers opening up their homes and private studios as art galleries to the public. This is a fantastic opportunity to see and purchase unique artworks, as well as meeting the local artists behind the creations.
The trail, now in its 21st year, will feature work from new and established artists. From atmospheric land and seascapes to contemporary printmaking, installations, ceramics, textiles, jewellery and sculpture, there is something to suit everyone's tastes.
There are also lots of other ways in which you can get involved in the art trail too, with a packed week of activities planned. From watercolour workshops to clay jewellery and an open mic evening at The Queen’s Head, these are nine days in Burnham not to be missed!
As part of the trail, local estate agent Church & Hawes, who are working alongside us at Burham Waters to sell our new retirement bungalows, will be showcasing some local artwork in their offices. If you are in the area, make sure you pop in to see the display – they are number 20 on the trail!
