Essex Christmas Markets 2025
Meadow Croft German Christmas Market
Meadow Croft Garden Centre, Woodham Road, Battlesbridge, Wickford, SS11 7QU

Monday – Saturday 9am – 5pm / Sunday 10am – 4pm
Inspired by traditional German Markets, you will be captivated by the sights, sounds and smells of the market, with irresistible seasonal treats and unique yuletide gifts and decorations.
The German Market hosts more than 30 stalls. Every stall is adorned with handpicked, high-quality artisan products including carved wooden decorations, delicate glassware and baubles, traditional cuckoo clocks and much more.
Festive visitors can wander amongst the many festive chalet style stalls, soak up the festive atmosphere and get in the mood for the holiday season, whilst the smells of Bratwurst, Gingerbread and Glühwein waft through.
At the heart of the German Market, there are lots of mouth-watering, specialist German foods such as Frankfurter, Sauerkraut, Waffles, Apple Strudel and the incredibly popular Schokokusse (chocolate kisses), which the whole family can enjoy. German bottled beers, a delicious homemade spiced apple drink and of course, Glühwein are also served.

Essex Festive Gift & Food Show

Essex County Christmas Fair
Braxted Park Estate, Witham, Essex
14th –16th November 2025
This popular, annual Christmas fair is taking place at the beautiful Braxted Park Estate. There will be over 150 stalls featuring handcrafted items, unique gifts, artisan food & drink and festive decorations- all geared to deliver the ultimate Christmas shopping experience! Stalls will be located within heated shopping marquees and throughout the stunning grounds of Braxted Park.
There will be live music every day, as well as LED performers, stilt walkers, food trucks and festive tipples to keep you warm. Keep an eye out for Father Christmas roaming around the event and stopping for photos with visitors.
