When designing our new retirement residences, accessibility was a priority. For example, all of our homes include wheelchair-adaptable designs, level thresholds, and wet room bathrooms ensuring comfort for all residents.
Everything at Burnham Waters has been considered and thoughtfully designed to enhance the lives of our residents. Burnham Waters is made up of small, intimate ‘community hubs’ that make up the wider development as a whole. Each of these hubs surrounds beautifully landscaped, communal green space.
The scheme gives residents the feeling of independence, privacy and the ability to be connected to their friends and neighbours, whilst being able to easily access any medical facilities, shops and amenities whenever needed.

At Burnham Waters, we have drawn on the latest technology to make the lives of our residents as comfortable and secure as possible – giving both you as residents, and your loved ones, additional peace of mind.
The Nobi fall detection system
All residents at Burnham Waters have the option of installing Nobi, a new hands-free emergency response system, which you can have integrated within your home. Nobi helps older adults continue enjoying their lives, in the comfort of a familiar environment, according to their own rules.
There are no wearables, and no charging required. It is not intrusive, the system simply detects a person’s body position, a fall, or changes in behaviour patterns and alerts our onsite team to respond. If something happens to you within your home at Burnham Waters, a helpful hand will be alerted immediately
Smart lock and video intercom
Our smart lock and video intercoms are standard in all of our retirement residences. It allows you to see who's at your front door before answering it and can also make it easier for residents to communicate with those outside without having to go to the door. For people with limited mobility, the unlock feature allows residents to let visitors into their home, without the need to physically open the door themselves.
Security alarms
This is a safety measure, which we are installing in all of our homes. This alarm system can be monitored from our on-site security office for added peace of mind and is ideal for those that wish to lock up and leave their home for extended trips away.
Customer Portal
The Customer Portal is accessible as an app. It gives purchasers a single point of reference throughout their entire buying journey and supports you throughout your time living at Burnham Waters.

All of our homes incorporate a series of measures to enable residents to reduce their energy consumption – and their fuel bills too! All homes are provided with and electric car charging point and Air Source Heat Pumps are included within all bungalows.
